Tropicana has been undergoing a transformation the last little while, to the tune of $165 million. From giving the rooms and suites a much needed makeover with modern updates, to a new casino, to fixing up the grounds, it looks like they really are aiming towards the “out with the old, in with the new” concept, and the theme they are working on embodying is South Beach.

The latest extensive renovation at the Tropicana is the Biscayne Steak, Sea and Wine restaurant. The new eatery now occupies the former Legends steakhouse, located on the hotel’s mezzanine level. The hotel’s director of food and beverage, Tom Recine headed up the makeover of the former Legends steakhouse.

The new restaurant focuses on premium steak, fish, and other seafood. Of course no meal would be complete without a glass of world-class vino, and Biscayne Steak, Sea and Wine restaurant deliver on this, boasting a wine wall laden with more than 500 bottles of wine from all over the world!

Biscayne Steak, Sea & Wine restaurant is opened Sunday, Monday, and Thursday, from 5pm -10pm. Fridays and Saturdays, it is opened from 5pm – 11pm. The restaurant is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. For reservations, call 800-562-8767.
