Original Mannequin Exhibition

Friday, December 9th, 2011

Las Vegas Mannequins recently hosted a new concept event called “Naked” in downtown Las Vegas. The event is an artistic look at mannequins as an art form in real life settings, instead of the conventional clothing display.

The SoHo Lofts had the grand opening of their new art wing, and the “Naked” event was held there. A variety of mannequins were placed into the hall  and formed into various positions to mimic motion. There were mannequins everywhere! Some hanging from the ceiling, dancing, diving, swinging, doing yoga, sitting, and even standing!

Because the facility is much larger, the mannequins were varied, from flesh tone to high gloss, and they were placed in different locations. Soft lighting added to the ambiance of the displaya, and each mannequin seemed to come more to life as a result.

The goal of the Naked exhibition was to show off the stylization and design of each mannequin, right down to every last detail. The outstanding craftsmanship that went into each mannequin could be seen throughout the entire exhibition, and it was admired by guests.

Guests were able to enjoy the exhibition in depth, with details on each design, including the process of creation, and even what was implemented.  The show was definitely an original one, and no exhibition like this has ever been produced before.

Motley Crue To Set Up Shop In Vegas

Monday, December 5th, 2011

Coming to Las Vegas in 2012, Motley Crue will be setting up shop for almost three weeks at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in the first week of February. The band has promised an amazing show that guests won’t soon forget, which they have described as “a psycho circus of heavy metal, pyro and possibly some naked women.”

Motley Crue is Los Angeles-based, and they are a multiplatinum band that has been rocking out for 30 years. The band is in their planning stage of production, and an insider of the band, singer Vince Neil compared the set up to Cirque du Soleil.

In a conference call to announce the series, Vince Neil said “This show is going to be more towards the Cirque-type, over-the-top, full-production thing. We’re really not interested in just going out there and playing songs. We want to make a full-blown interactive show.”

One can’t help but wonder if Motley Crue is pursuing a more interactive lively show because they are in Las Vegas and competing with some stiff competition, including the likes of Elton John, Celine Dion, Shania Twain, Santana, and Rod Stewart? Motley Crue had better bring their A-game, but by the sounds of it, they’ll be offering up an amazing show.

Tickets are on sale now at www.Motley.com. Ticket prices range from $41 to $81, so get your tickets before they’re gone!
