Global Gaming Expo In Las Vegas

The Global Gaming Expo (G2E) just finished it’s 2011 expo yesterday. The Global Gaming Expo is known as the nation’s biggest event for the gaming and gambling industry, and this year, it kicked off on Saturday, on October 1st, finishing up it’s four day run yesterday on October 4th.

It was held earlier than normal this year, as it was always held mid November, but the change was made by organizers for two important reasons; first, to allow buyers more time to check out new products before the close of the annual budgets, and second, to give enough space between other big gaming related events.

Besides the new date, there was also a new location. The previous events had been held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, and changed this year to the Sands Expo and Convention Center. It’s actually the perfect location to hold a gaming expo, especially because the whole expo can be held in one hall, instead of two, like it was previously.

More than 25,000 attended the Global Gaming Expo, and there were over 400 companies and 40 international exhibitors. The newest software, hardware, and gaming related products were all out on display, and the best of the best in the gaming industry were also present.
