Halloween 2011 Events in Las Vegas

Holidays are always a big deal in Las Vegas – especially those that require dressing up. As such, Halloween is a very popular event in the City of Sin. While we all know about the epic, celebrity-geared parties that take place in the strip’s casinos and nightclubs, Las Vegas is also host to a wide array of community and family events.

Tonight, be sure to tune in to the Halloween Parade, which starts at 7pm! At the event, there will be a costume contest – attendees can register between 4pm and 6pm. There are only a few rules: costumes must be family-friendly and must be homemade.

There are also several haunted house events taking place in the city. Circus Circus will transform its arcade into an ideal Halloween local, consisting of five different haunted houses. Freakling Brothers’ Triology of Terror takes an adult approach to Halloween, offering up some sideshows that are sure to give you nightmares (only for ages 14 and up).

If you’re looking for something a little more ‘authentic’, there are plenty of ghost walks in the city. Madame Tussaud’s ‘After Dark’, Circus Circus’ 13th Floor spectacle are certainly events that you will want to check out if this is your sort of thing.
