500 Menu Items At Caesars Palace

Las Vegas is known for a lot of things; offering great entertainment, swanky hotels, grand casinos, a place to go to get wild, and amazing dining experiences.

Now a lot of people don’t think of all the restaurants in Las Vegas initially, because everyone cares more about the casinos, hotels, and the shows. Part of entertainment though should be dining, because there are so many different places to go check out that are run by the top chefs in the industry.

Caesar’s Palace opened up their new Bacchanal Buffet earlier this month, offering an astounding 500 items in a 25,000-square-foot buffet that seats 600. The buffet cost $17 million to build. On the grand opening day, they opened up at 7 a.m. where just 20 or so people showed up. By lunchtime though, there was a substantial line, with people waiting around for 25 minutes just to get in and be one of the firsts to try out dishes from the Bacchanal Buffet kitchen. There are nine themed kitchens, offering Asian, American, and Italian dishes. Traffic was and continues to be steady at the new buffet.

According to the executive chef, Scott Green, the most popular dishes were sushi, pizza, barbecue and desserts. The hours are from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Breakfast is $19.99, lunch $24.99, and dinner is $34.99 on weekdays. On the weekend, dinner comes in at $39.99.
