Free Show Of The Color Purple
Come check out a free show in Las Vegas! The Tony Award nominated musical The Color Purple will be coming to Las Vegas for a one week run to celebrate National Women’s Equality Month.
Joining the cast for the free shows at the West Las Vegas Theatre from August 22-26 is Grammy Award Winner “Bubba” Knight and Gospel Singer Lecrecsia Campbell.
The Color Purple tells the story of a black woman named Celie, who finds strength to overcome adversity. The musical features a Grammy-nominated score, that is a mix of jazz, pop, and blues.
The musical previously ran two years at the Broadway Theatre in 2005.
The following is show time information:
Thursday, August 23 – Friday, August 24 at 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, August 25 at 1:30 p.m.
Sunday, August 26 at 1:30 p.m.
Tickets are free, and the show is opened to the public. There are a limited number of seats available, and 2 hours prior to each performance, tickets will be issued at the theatre box office. Guests can receive up to 2 tickets each. Children under the age of 13 are not permitted in the theatre, due to the nature of the show. Check out this amazing show if you can!
