There’s a free summer splash coming up soon! The grand opening of Nathaniel Jones Park in Mountain’s Edge will be hosting the summer splash event to celebrate their grand opening on Saturday, June 23^rd. The event is free, and kicks off at 3p.m.,  and ends at 7p.m. The 20-acre park is located at 8800 Sparkling Chandon Drive, in the planned community development by Focus Property Group.

There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony held by the park’s entrance at 4p.m. and attendees can enjoy activities before, after, and during this time. Part of the summer splash fun will include inflatable water slides and a squirt gun fight tent that’ll sure be a blast. Attendees will be provided with equipment, but they can also bring their own.

Besides the summer splash activities, there will be plenty of other things for attendees to enjoy, such as music, dancing, arts and crafts, a scavenger hunt, a petting zoo, pony rides, booths, and so much more! The new park will even be open, which has a basketball court, a lot for tots, splash pad, and walking trails.

The park is really going all out for their grand opening, even including several food vendors for the occasion, who will be selling burgers, hot dogs, funnel cakes and all sorts of other good food.
