Fries With That Heart Attack?

It was bound to happen sooner or later, and is it really so surprising that a customer had a heart attack at the Heart Attack Grill in Las Vegas?

A man believed to be in his 40’s was rushed to hospital when paramedics showed up within minutes of getting a call from the Heart Attack Grill.

The owner of the Heart Attack Grill, Jon Basso told press that one of his employees noticed that the customer was having a heart attack, and reacted promptly, seeking medical help. Since the incident, the customer’s condition and identity have not been learned.

At the Heart Attack Grill, employees all are nicknamed “nurses.’ The owner, Jon Basso is known as “chief surgeon.” Customers are nicknamed “patients” and food orders are referred to as “prescriptions.”

A “nurse” noticed the customer was sitting by himself, and then noticed that he was shaking and clutching his chest.

Basso has expressed that he hopes people will respect this customer’s privacy, as well as take the situation seriously, despite the coincidence. He said to the press, commenting on the incident “When they happen in a heart attack-themed restaurant, people find it funny.”

The Heart Attack restaurant opened last Fall in Las Vegas, and is near the Fremont Street Experience.
