Pair Of Bars Coming To Henderson

There are so many bars that people can go to in the Las Vegas area, and pretty soon, there will be two new additions in Henderson. Opening up these two new bars is former NASA software engineer, Richard Ditton

The new bars to be are in Henderson, and are located at the corner of Stephanie Street and Paseo Verde Parkway. One location will be called HiScores, which will offer up old school arcade games and internet wifi. The other location on the other side of the building will be called the Players Club, which is geared more towards providing a casual laid back lounge. Both bars will offer bar top gaming, and of course, drinking!

The properties are currently undergoing renovation, and used to be the Caribbean Cooker and Ernie’s High Adventure Pub and Deli. It is expected that the bars will open sometime in mid-August.

The general manager will be Leif Marwede, who Ditton has known since the late 1980’s, who also shares a tech background.

Talking about the bars opening up, Marwede said “We’re doing everything we can to make this tech-friendly or tech-chic,” adding on “We’ve got 25-megabit wireless Internet here, which is the highest you can get. We have power in every booth, so hopefully people will be bringing in laptops, hang out for the day, study and eat.”
